The Hot Chili Cups are just like the Grifter Cups, but they are made from high impact plastic, not brass.
You don't need any shills for the mark to believe they have a chance to win.
The bottom ridge design keeps the ball in the cups when moved in any direction. You can demonstrate on how it is a fair game before they play and they can be fully examined, if need be.
The cups fit in between the fingers very well, if you want to shuffle all three cups with only one hand.
The center notch around the cups gives you added control in moving or lifting the cups. One cup, two cups or all three cups can be lifted with the fingers at different times.
Because the ball stays in the cups when shuffling the cups, you can shuffle them as long as you want without having to take the ball in and out of a cup.
Lifting the cups during the shuffle to show where the ball is or isn't will center their attention on following the cup that has the ball.
First you need the game to look fair. You are then able to do your special move without it being noticed.
You are not forced to take the ball or do anything till you want to do it.
This is why it looks like it is a fair game being played. They actually can think they have a chance to win and they can, if you let them.
The cups were designed to play a fair game to give the mark confidence to play, by just moving the cups in a normal
way.
As the cups can work just like how the player thinks they should work. This is what makes them so special.
These are the only type shell or cups that can play both ways, not fair or fair.

Con Game
Slang A confidence game. The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English,
Confidence game
A swindle in which the swindler, after gaining the victim's confidence, robs the victim by cheating at a gambling game, or the like. Also called, Brit.,con′fidence trick. Webster's College Dictionary,
Confidence Trick
The perpetrator of a confidence trick (or "con-trick") is often referred to as a confidence (or "con") man, woman or artist, or a "grifter".
Shill
Slang a confidence trickster's assistant, a person who poses as an ordinary customer, gambler, etc., in order to entice others to participate
This is what the Bottom Ridge design brings to the cups, as it can be displayed very fair, to make it a confidence game.
Has nothing to hide and it is like a two way street that you can go both ways that appears to be fair without the shills.
No gimmicks with entire flat surface.
The old standard shells or cups that have been used are a one way street that will not bring confidence on its own.
The only way it can, is by adding shills to the game. The standard type shells or cups has too many clues , rules and need to hide too many things to build confidence, without the use of shills.
The Hot Chili Cups will bring the ideal situation for the magician, without the use of added shills.
This makes it a confidence game and at the same time showing your sleight of hand skills.
