These Bullheaded shells were molded and casted from a real nut. Also known as Bat Nut, Goat Head nut, Bull Nut, and Buffalo Nut, is the seed pod of Trapa bicornis, an aquatic Asian plant. Glossy and black and when dried and oiled, its surface texture is similar to that of a chestnut or buckeye. However, depending on the way it is viewed, this naturally sculpted botanical oddity looks like nothing so much as a leering goat-horned devil, an enraged bull head, or a flying bat. Many have thought that you will never be able to bring a big surprise load from a little walnut shell like done with the Cups & Balls. This is not the case at all. Actually, it can even be more surprising when seeing large items coming out of a small walnut shell than a larger cup. The Coin Slot Shells were designed to deliver some big surprises with good reasoning behind them and not just fruit or a bigger ball. These shells are able to produce eight half dollar coins. It will be hard for anyone to believe they could all fit inside a walnut shell but they do. A surprise of eight coins coming out of a walnut shell works very well for a good reason. The shell game is known as a gambling game trying to win money. Eight coins falling out of a walnut shell is very visual and with sound. Also with the eight coins being produced at the end of your shell routine, the coins will not only be a surprise but can now be used to go into a coin routine.
The eight coin production from the shell is fairly simple to do. The eight coins are laying flat on the last three fingers, where the three fingers are curled inward to clip them in the hand. (As in image #1) The index finger and thumb pick up the shell.

The effect is where the kicker is place on top of the ball at the front tip of the beetle and the Beetle Trap is placed over the beetle with the ball. When all is move to the player, they will see the ball go into the shell. The other two beetles are shown empty. From here you can milk it any way you want. When they take off the trap and lift the beetle the dung ball is gone. When they look at the bottom of the beetle they now find the egg inside the dung ball has hatched to have a golden baby beetle embedded in the beetle.

Women & Children; these type theme shells that are presented as a fun game have all been tested with amazing results.
I have found that the mother at the children's party was right in there with the kids having fun and never viewed it to be anything different than entertainment for her and the kid's. All kids love a challenge to a game and magic!
Fun Surprises; For an ending surprise, the red ladybug is placed over the green ball and moved over to the player to hold down with their finger. Both hands are shown to be empty and the other two ladybugs are picked up to show they are both empty and placed back down on the surface and both are moved to bump the one the player has their finger on.
Both hands are again shown to be empty after releasing the two shells.
Now it is time for them to pick which color ladybug has the little green ball.
Most likely they will pick the one they have their finger on. But it doesn't matter at this point.
They lift the red ladybug and find no ball. You take hold of the other two ladybugs and slowly wiggle lift them up where a matching color 1-1/2" sponge ball come out of both shells.
So where is the little green ball? There is a little drawstring bag that the little green ball came out of at the start of the game and was put aside out of the play area. The little green ball returns to the bag.
The little green ball is poured out of the bag onto the surface. The ball is picked up and displayed.
The player is asked to hold their hand out. You do a rubbing motion on the little green ball with your finger.
The little green ball has now changed into a little green ladybug that is placed in the player's hand and both hands are shown to be empty coming away from their hand.
Below is a rough video outline without the use of a spectator to give you an idea on one way the surprise finish could be done. This is an unpracticed video and I'm sure you will be able to find your own way to apply it better. I'm too busy creating and making the shells, so this video is mainly just for show and tells of giving you some ideas.

The three shell game has been known as a gambling con game. So it has only been targeted to be demonstrated to an adult type audience. This does not need to be the case with the shell game. If the shell game is not demonstrated as a gambling con game. The shells that are being used here are not known to be used for the con game. The shell game can be suitable to entertain any type audience. It is only a matter of how you want to present it.
Women & Children; these type theme shells that are presented as a fun game have all been tested with amazing results.
I have found that the mother at the children's party was right in there with the kids having fun and never viewed it to be anything different than entertainment for her and the kid's. All kids love a challenge to a game and magic!
Fun Surprises; For an ending surprise, the red ladybug is placed over the green ball and moved over to the player to hold down with their finger. Both hands are shown to be empty and the other two ladybugs are picked up to show they are both empty and placed back down on the surface and both are moved to bump the one the player has their finger on.
Both hands are again shown to be empty after releasing the two shells.
Now it is time for them to pick which color ladybug has the little green ball.
Most likely they will pick the one they have their finger on. But it doesn't matter at this point.
They lift the red ladybug and find no ball. You take hold of the other two ladybugs and slowly wiggle lift them up where a matching color 1-1/2" sponge ball come out of both shells.
So where is the little green ball? There is a little drawstring bag that the little green ball came out of at the start of the game and was put aside out of the play area. The little green ball returns to the bag.
The little green ball is poured out of the bag onto the surface. The ball is picked up and displayed.
The player is asked to hold their hand out. You do a rubbing motion on the little green ball with your finger.
The little green ball has now changed into a little green ladybug that is placed in the player's hand and both hands are shown to be empty coming away from their hand.
Below is a rough video outline without the use of a spectator to give you an idea on one way the surprise finish could be done. This is an unpracticed video and I'm sure you will be able to find your own way to apply it better. I'm too busy creating and making the shells, so this video is mainly just for show and tells of giving you some ideas.

The Bell Shells are for the ones that would like to present the shells more of a magical display than a con game.
They have the bottom ridge bottom that makes them fair shells where the soft ball will stay inside the shell when the shell is moved with the ball. Which makes them fair shells. But the shell operator has full control to steal the ball at any time and load it into another shell.
This brings many advantages that can't be done with any other type shells. This is not a gimmick, it actually takes away the gimmick that other shells have. They can be fully examined at any time without switching anything out.
Have a totally flat surface bottom without any notch or other visual gimmicked clues on now the ball can escape the shell.

This is a custom semi-clear resin Bell Trap that is a perfect fit to the bell shell that makes it an extension of the shell.
After the bell with the ball is covered with the trap it all can be moved around on the surface to show there is no way the ball can escape the bell and the trap.
Then all is moved in front of the spectator and the ball is stolen. There are many different ways you can decide from here on where you want the ball to end up to reappear. The other two bells are shown to be empty and are placed on both sides of the bell trap.
One way that can be a little different than it ending up in another bell is for the ball to materializes at your fingertips above the bell trap.
You have the spectator touch the tops of the other two bells and you touch the red stone at the top of the bell trap.
When the ball had been stolen from the bell trap the ball was put into a thumb clip at the back v area or a finger clip where the hand will appear to be empty.
After the tops of the bells and the red teleporter stone have been touched the fingertips do a grabbing motion above the bell trap. Today not too many shell workers use real nut shells as they do not hold up like the plastic resin and metal shells. The real peanut shell was too thin of a shell to use in the past. But now that we can make them from plastic resin and metal they work great! The peanut shell shape is very easy to pick up and control. Peanuts are more commonly seen in the real world today. Now you can use three peanut shells and a ball colored like a peanut. Some of you have been lead to believe that the inverted V-notch at the back of a walnut shell is needed and would work better on a walnut than a peanut. Well, to me this is one of the biggest reasons I started designing my own shells. The designed notch at the back of the shell is like a big arrow exit sign on how the ball comes out of the shell and is not needed. If the interior of the shell is designed right and you use the right handling of the shell, there will not be movement of the shell when the ball comes in and out of the shell with a flat surface. Think about it. Bottle caps and match boxes work fine without it. The only shells that use this big clue are the old walnut shell design.

The Gypsy world revolves around one thing - the family business: The "con."
A Gypsy child is raised being told the tale of the young Gypsy boy who saved the life of Jesus.
The tale (with some variation) tells of four nails made to be used in the crucifixion: one each for the hands of Jesus,

Shell Trap; Is a clear polished acrylic plastic cup that is used in your ending surprise where a barrel with a pea is covered to trap all inside the shell trap. When moved over to the spectator. Everything is moved in a natural way.

One barrel is shown empty and placed over the pea. The shell trap cup is placed over the barrel with the pea trapping all inside the clear cup and moved to the spectator to hold down, where it appears nothing can come in or out.
The two other barrels are pick up and shown empty at same time they can see both hands are empty. The two barrels shells are place back down. You now milk it, by trying to talk them out of picking the one they hold. It does not matter which one they pick as the ball will not be in any of them. All the shell are pick up and shown empty one at a time. Each barrel one by one is tap and shaken of the surface that bring out a large black ball that is the bottom of the barrel remains from each barrel. This set of shells is for the ones that want to bring something different to the table beside walnut shells. The game is played the same but is presented as which shoe has the stone in it. The shoe shells have very high detail that is bought out with a dark colored stain. They show as classy wingtip shoes. The set comes with cork balls and softballs.
They can be ordered in two different type materials; Plastic or Bronze.
If the shoe shells are used with the cork balls you will have full control of the ball and everything can be fully examined at any time without switching anything out. There are no hidden gimmicks. The clear hand bottom ridge shells have some history to them. They were one of the first shell sets that I made with the bottom ridge design. When I was performing full time, I wanted to make a shell set of three clear hands where you could see the ball till it went into the sleeve. Like the ball appeared to be sleeved. First I did a set like the classic type shell without the ridge. I didn't like this because you couldn't see the ball long enough to really have a good effect and you would have to keep reloading the ball to keep it in the clear hand area in moving the shell around. So that is when I set out to design a shell that I had full control on the shell and pea. This was many years ago before they were released to the public.
Having the bottom ridge design on a clear shell is great. It can bring a very different visual effect that is under full control by you. This can go with the theme idea of sleight of hand and sleeving. Once the clear bottom ridge hand shell were completed, they worked very well for what I was looking for. That was to have full control of the pea in what I wanted it to do. I did not have to do what the pea wanted to do. When I was working in bars on the bar counter I had a lot of fun with the unique shells. At the end of a routine, I would let the spectator turn over the hand they picked that they thought to have the ball and then the others, that also had no ball. I would pick up two of the hand shells and would have the spectator pick up one in telling them; let's see if we can shake the ball out of the sleeve. At the same time they would shake their shell, I would shake both of mine and a whole bunch of quarters would come falling out of both of the hand shells I held. “These hands are even better at sleight of hand in finding loose money on the counter." This would always get a surprise and a good laugh.

The new Color Blind shell game is where the spectator has more hands on involvement, for much more added fun.
There are three cups that look all the same on the outside with a hole in the top center of the cups and goes down through the cup to the inside of the cup. This is used for the player to drop the colored balls into the cups.
The inside of each shell cup has three different colors, Red, Yellow and Green, like a signal light.
Three matching color balls of Red, Yellow and Green.
The object of the game is to drop each colored ball into the correct matching colored cup to win.
Setup: All the inside of the cups are shown and setup in the order of a signal light, Red, Yellow and Green.
From your left to right
The player has the three colored balls.
Starting the game: After the inside of all three cups have been shown on what color each cup has on the inside, all the cups are shuffle around.
After the shuffle is done, the player drops one colored ball down the top hole of the cup that they think the color cup matches their color ball.
The shuffling of the cups is repeated after each placing of a different colored ball, till all three balls have been placed in all three cups.

This set was made in high detail to appear to be a very old magical set of cups. The three dragon cups & their magical pearl can fit very well for the display of the 3 shell game in the hunt of the magical pearl. Show and tell how Blackbeard would share the takings with the crew and get it all back by playing the three shell game. The game is played with three brass cannon ball fuse caps and a musket ball. He would drop the musket ball through the fuse hole of one of the caps then shuffle all three around. If they picked the cap that had the musket ball, they would win. Blackbeard did not like to lose, if they picked the right one he would place a fuse in it and say, “ Let’s see if you have a shot to win or lose” The crew would run so they didn’t get shot by the musket ball. Blackbeard would always win. What I like to do for the routine ending is roll up a small ball of flash cotton and push some flash cord in the ball of cotton, push all in fuse hole of the shell, light the flash cord as you lift the shell, and the ten gold coins fall out of shell. With these magical collector shells you too will win with giving great entertainment!

The Reality Shell Game is different; it is played daily with a whole nation of people. Every morning when you look at the news headlines and you see a Crisis “pea” placed under one of the three “E” shells. Them hidden powers start moving the shells around, while you try to guess which shell the crisis is underneath for that day. All the while, the "disunited populace” is shouting that the crisis is under this shell or that shell, trying to influence us.
(The pea is put under a shell; all three shells are shuffled around and while you are shuffling the shells around, you lift one shell at a time to show the pea or where is no pea.)
If we reach for the shell representing Energy, voices cry out a resounding “NO, we have 100 years of the stuff left”.
(Lift another shell that represents Energy to show there is no pea under it.)
If we reach for the shell representing Economy, we get another “NO, we are recovering nicely”.
(Lift another shell that represents Economy to show there is no pea under it.)
Reaching for the third shell representing Environment, we get another “NO, global warming is "cyclical natural phenomenon, not a fact.”
(Lift the last shell that represents Environment showing that all three shells have no crisis peas.)

After a while, with all the emotional capital expended, the player eventually wanders away to watch whatever show is on TV at the moment. Our response is not to research further information about where the “Crisis pea” is really hiding, or if indeed there really is a “Crisis pea”.

The problem with this is that it leaves us deficient of the emotional capital needed if such a crisis is indeed hiding in our future.

The 3rd Eye Shells are different than the normal shells used for the old 3 shell game. This set was made for the magician that wants to display a magical mysterious type routine along with maybe some story telling. The shells have the 21st century Bottom Ridge design. Everything being used can be fully examined at anytime, if need be.
There are no clues or rules with these shells. You have full control to do what and when you want to do it.
Everything can be displayed very fair with nothing to hide and you can deliver entertainment that has never been seen before. They can even fool the ones that know how the old shell game works.
The eyes that are embedded in the shells are very realistic. The brain with legs is made out of the same material as the ball being used. At the end of the game, the ball is picked up and squeezed around in the hand. When the hand is opened, the ball has changed into a brain with legs. As the brain is really what makes the eyes able to see ahead of things before they happen, by jumping from shell to shell.
